From May 22nd Bruce and I will be in Vancouver for a one week residency with the Vancouver Intercultural Orchestra (VICO).

We will do a lecture concert at the Vancouver Public Library on May 26th, performing classical, modern and original works from our repertoire while speaking about our experiences working with traditional instruments in a cross cultural situation.

On May 29th at the Vancouver Community College Auditorium we will premiere two new works and an arrangement of the classical Chidori No Kyoku commissioned by VICO for this exciting collaboration.

The SOEMON 15th Anniversary Concert at Musicasa in Tokyo was a great success.
